Gershon Seiferas

Gershon is a member of the real estate practice of Outside Counsel Solutions.  He represents national retailers, real estate investment trusts, large and small investment, management and development companies and non-profit corporations, on various real estate matters, including the acquisition, development and financing of office buildings, industrial facilities, shopping centers, senior living facilities and multifamily projects throughout the United States and related joint venture agreements.

Gershon also advises landlords and tenants in connection with the drafting and negotiation of complex commercial leases of retail, office and industrial properties.

Representative Matters

• Representing a large investment management firm, that acts as an advisor to major state pension funds, in a variety of acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures and financing transactions.
• Representing a publicly-traded real estate investment trust in the acquisition and financing of a $250,000,000 portfolio of properties in Colorado, Georgia, Minnesota and Virginia.
• Representing a large, privately-held owner and operator of assisted living facilities in its capitalization of a $400,000,000 portfolio of senior housing properties.
• Negotiating leases and contracts on behalf of one of the world’s largest investment management firms for office facilities in the United States, Canada, England, France and Singapore.
• Representing a broad spectrum of landlords and tenants in hundreds of leasing transactions for office, industrial and retail space throughout the United States.
• Representing a global management consulting firm in its negotiation of agreements for the design and construction of office spaces in different domestic locations.
• Representing two major big box retailers in connection with their land assembly and development projects in the New England region.
• Representing a major state pension fund and its investment advisor in workouts and restructurings related to loans secured by properties in Arkansas, Ohio and Massachusetts.
• Representing investors in the acquisition of a distressed loan and the subsequent acquisition of the 80-acre vacation resort site securing the loan.
