Melinda Spitzer
As part of the OCS litigation practice group, Melinda has handled a wide range of commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts in areas such as contracts, intellectual property, trade secrets, and employment. In the area of regulatory law, Melinda has counseled clients regarding compliance with state and federal telemarketing laws, charitable solicitation and consumer protection issues.
Before joining OCS, Melinda gained comprehensive experience at the New York Attorney General’s Office litigating federal civil rights, employment discrimination claims, and Article 75 and Article 78 cases in defense of state employees (including judges) and agencies in federal courts. Melinda conducted all phases of litigation, including depositions, discovery, motion practice and trials.
